APRIL 6TH

Hola!

Alrighty so this past week was awesome! first of all i have officially been out in the field for 5 month oh my gosh!!! aaaaahhhhhh! ok so you all want deets so here you go. Our apartment is so super nice we live in the basement and the other hermanas in our district live in the other apartment building right behind us when we dont have lunch we all eat together and it is super fun. We have a zone of 18 missionaries in Rio Grande. Our zone leaders are Elder Rendon and Elder Erickson(he was my first zone leader in caleta lol). It is windy and cold all the time and we are right by the shore so some days it just pours rain and it is always an adventure to leave the pension.

Ok so this past week we had a really awesome lesson with our investigator Heros. We found out that he went to the conference while we were in Ushuaia! WHO KNEW!! not us! he said that he liked it so that is good. We taught the plan of salvation to him and we were reading about the different kingdoms and who goes where. His brother Nahuel was with us (he got baptized a month ago and we love him very much). He said that the people who go to the celestial kingdom are those who follow religion and get baptized. Nahuel then told him that it couldnt just be any religion, that it needed to be the true church and he bore the most beautiful heartfelt testimony about how he knew that the gospel was true and how he had received his testimony. He promised his brother that he could get his promise too and it was just amazing. the spirit was so strong, and his testimony meant more than anything we could have said because he is his big brother. I love it! Heros was out of town this week, but we are hoping to meet with him this next week and go to church with him! :) YEEEEAAAAAHHHH!!

We had a really great super pday today with our whole zone we went to tolhuin and had an asado and then we had a big testimony meeting out in the woods about the book of mormon challenge with everyone and it was so beautiful. In January pres rogers gave us the challenge to read the book of mormon by april 6th and mark things about the obra misional in blue and things about the savior in red and it was awesome! I have no doubts that the book of mormon is the word of god and that when we search with real intent we can find all of the answers to our questions! I challenge you all to get a blank book of mormon and ask a question or have a topic you want to learn about and go through and mark the things that pertain to that topic. you wont be dissapointed! 

funny moment: ok so my compa hna miranda wants to learn english and the piano so i am teaching her lol so we did our planning session in english a couple nights ago so she could practice...AND IT WAS SO HARD TO SPEAK IN ENGLISH hahahaha I cant english anymore haha i kept speaking in spanish and she was like ¨sister speak english!!" haha. I struggled to close our session with a prayer in english hahaha so weird what are words!!
