February 23rd

Well this week was super awesome! We had entrevistas with President and Hermana Rogers and we got to talk to them individually and tell them all about the things that are happening in our lives, they are so wonderful and i love them so much. We also got to have a huge PDAY with our whole zone the other week, so we had tons of food and an asada and churi pan, so much good food. i sure do love my zone.

We also saw a lot of miracles this week, we were able to start teaching a family of young girls, their parents arent interested but they told us that we could keep teaching the kids. They are so super cute ages 12, 11, and 8 they love to learn and they love when we come, if they see us on the street they yell hi to us and wave. SO CUTE! also we had a really great lesson with jonatan, it was so powerful and the spirit was so strong, we went through the baptismal interview questions and he was so open with us about his testimony of God and how he wants to change his life to be more like Christ, we were also able to find out what his doubts are so that we can help him become more converted. He has the most sincere heart, he wants to change and we can show him how the gospel can help him become who he wants to become!! We found an investigator that we have been trying to get in touch with since he came to church with his girlfriend, his name is luis and he just has this fire and passion to know the answers, he also has so many great questions of the soul, he also is chilean so he talks so super fast so that keeps me on my toes too hahaha. We are also working on teaching another family that just moved in the mom is the only member, but her sons have been going to church and reading the book of mormon for the past little while :) MIRACLES HAPPEN. I know that the Lord is preparing people for us everyday!

In other news.....Me and my comp got lice this week.... yup lice or PIOJOS in spanish. theyre all gone right now, but apparently its super normal here because of all the dirt and wind and dogs. my comp had like a colony, she changed her shampoo a couple months ago, and she just thought she was itchy because it was an allergic reaction, but she was washing her hair in our sink the other morning with botellas (cuz we dont have water yet again...lol i love argentina bahahaha). and she was like hermana there is a bug in this come check my hair, and yup lice so we bought the shampoo and stuff and then i had to come through her hair, she checked mine and couldnt see any but we did it just in case and there were 6 bugs in my hair so we are officially lice free, but i can officially put that on the things i never thought would happen in my life list. the mission sure is an adventure. I love that im here experiencing all these things, lice and all bahahah.
