January 26

Well! here we are! This last week was my birthday and it was super awesome! Our hermana capacitadores called and sang me happy birthday in the morning and i opened those presents that you gave me and then we went out and worked! We placed a fecha with one of our investigators and she is going to get baptized on the 7th of march so yay!! ALSO we had our correlacion missional that day and our lideres de zona bought me a bday cake and we got to share it with all of the missionaries in our ward and it was super awesome and chill! Loved it! Best birthday yet!

Went on my first intercambio(splits) with Hermana Kuhn(one of our hermana capacitadores) and it was so much fun! We went through our areas and really focused on contacting. I think that contacting is my favorite thing to do! Its so much fun to talk to people about their lives and what they like and have them teach you things about the culture here! Usually as they talk they share something about the importance of God in their life or about families, and you can share a truth and testify and its so great! Usually you can get an address and pass by later and share more. This week we had a competition with our contacts in our zone. Whoever can get 140 contacts this last week gets ice cream, and the losers have to buy all of the ice cream LOL we got 141 so YEAH! love this work! seriously!

And to top it all off! I have officially completed my first transfer in the field!! but nothing changed lol. Hermana Villela and I are still companions and we have the same area which is good cuz I heart our zone and our area!! The only differences in our ward Hermana Rodriguez, Elder Baez and Elder Erickson are going :( they´ll do great things and i might see hmna rod again cuz shes only one transfer ahead of me. But it sounds like we´re gonna get 2 new greenies which will be super fun and a new zone leader! Im pumped to meet them!

One of our families in our ward that lives in our area is moving, they were the first people that i had lunch with here in argentina and we had christmas adn new years with them, so we had lunch with them this past week and shared thank you notes with them and it was so sad! Its crazy to think how much love you can have for people who you´ve only known for alittle! I´ve come to learn that true love for a person is when you want them to have the gospel in their life because you want them to be happy! 

Funny moments: 

Elder Smedley: I wanted to get you a bday cake with pineapple but Elder Erickson wouldnt let me

Elder Erickson: yeah i was like dude that´s racist!! so i got you one with cherries instead

I thought Hermana Villela said I love being thin while she was eating my cake  LOL she did not but now we cant even remeber what she said cuz it was so funny!
